I use BT Sniper dies and pneumatic press for derimming. I have very few punch thru cases if I anneal and polish first. It appears from others the best results is dependent on your equipment.
For my heavy H&G molds I use a "lab jack" from eBay. The one I use on both my pots are blue anodized aluminum. It can be adjusted for height in seconds and is an arm saver.
The deciding factor for me was free Police range pick up of all small primer brass that I want. I now have five, 5 gallon buckets of processed brass. I leave all my large primer brass after shooting.

I also bought a lot of primers when obama was on the loose. I still have at least 100k stored in 4 different family locations. Many box's marked either $27 or $32 so I'm set for a while.

I just bought a Lyman 454 424 single cavity hollow point mold for $20. I can't wait to cast these. I have't been able to find info on this mold yet.

I check every .30 carbine case. It takes a lot of time but needs to be done.

In the past Iv'e used spent primers on top of the lead core. I wasn't able to recover any of the 40 cal bullets so I have no idea if they expanded as I expected.
