While not the most common ctg. the 30-30 was one of the offerings. 30-06 & 270 were the most common. There were a very few 25-35 made also.

Have it lined to 38 or 44WCF.Would be cheaper than re-barreling.

Saddle rings on rifles could be ordered. I highly doubt that the barrel band is factory, most likely it was a short mag. to start and converted to full length for some reason.

Stock could very well be replaced as it has a rifle style butt plate.

I have a Browning model 53 32-20 that I would like to add a receiver to,but do not want to drill and tap it. I have heard some people have epoxied sights with good luck, what would be the best epoxy...

Were the bullets you tried shooting jacketed or the plated lead? If the lead ones it may just be them.I had a 25-20 that would not shoot factory lead Rem. or Win. but shot jacketed and cast fine. If...

1. 1 out door industries tang sight. These are well made and nice...
I wouldn't use the jacketed bullets in the revolver. Lots of 32-20 revolvers have a ring in the barrel from a stuck bullet in the barrel and being fired again.

I have a win.55 in 25-35 accurate with both cast and jacketed. When forming cases from 30-30 brass I like new W-W brass,to avoid shoulder wrinkles remove the neck expander button from 32-40 FL sizer...

Bullet placement and penetration are the 2 main things I look for. The bullet speed and shape are next FP is a better shocker than a round nose. The amount of "energy" is meaningless. How can a 100...

Civil war muskets both British and American had no serial numbers. Other arms like the Sharps,Spencer,Henry did have SN's

I had one in 32-20 that did the same thing you are describing. Not uncommon with these rifles as the firing pin is smaller than the channel.

I guess it could just be the extractor. May get a new one down the road but hate to mess with it. Will use Rem brass for hunting. The rifle is 92 years old made in 1926.
