Correct, the first ratchet was free the second was .50¢. However shipping was still $8 lol.

Trust me I was extra cautious cranking on the lever. My guess is that the plastic material was inferior thus failing prematurely.

yeah I’ve been manually indexing it for nearly 20yrs, but i wanted to try out the auto index feature. I’m thinking the white plastic just isn’t as robust as Lee thinks it is. Oh well......
