There are plenty of handling marks on the stock. Just nothing big enough to show in the photos I took.

The serial number on the receiver and the stamp on the barrel both date it to July of 1943 they seem to be original.

I'll second the CZ82. Very unpleasant to shoot. Was going to use it as a ccw but it was heavy for its size, and I had trouble getting it to feed Hornady HPs reliably so I sold it.

Cant beat the price and cs of White Label. No experience with others because I tried WL and Im extremely happy with them. I use BAC and carnauba red. Great stuff!

Or some Wolf MT (same stuff). If you find a good lot it'll shoot as good as the premium Lapua/Eley. And for what people are paying for bulk .22lr, you might as well get some SK/Wolf.

I like the Winchester because its a Winchester, but the design of 336 imo is a superior design. I guess if I could only one one rifle and those were my two choices Id go with the Marlin.
