PVC is the 3rd highest source that gains a negative electric charge, after Teflon and Silicon (not Silicone although it's made from Silicon) respectively.

Definitely gloves during casting.

No gloves during reloading because I powder coat all my bucks and slugs.

I do, however, wear gloves while powder coating.

If I have to sit the mold down, it's on the hot plate so it's as if I never stopped casting.

Hello everyone!

New PC member and I use Prismatic Powders in 3" PVC pipes cut to 6" with the PVC end caps.
After shaking for about a minute, I place the PVC pipe on a Harbor Freight rock tumbler...

Glowbee Clear over Polar White
Savannah Blue
Spanish Gold
Lollypop Red
Electric Green
Sinbad Purple

All contain 1 coating, except the Transparent Copper and Candy Copper on the slugs (darker Candy Copper slugs are from The Powder Coating Store).
The copper from both companies required 2 coatings...

Late to the party since I'm a new member, yet you should (if you haven't aleady) apply some due diligence or hands-on experience before belittling someone or a process you aren't familiar with!

Even if the slugs won't touch it, why risk it.
