Slugged the bore and it measured .404. Someone had mentioned having good luck with 9.5 gr Unique @ 1325 w/210.Was spot on, ES was only 15 fps.
Bored out a Lee sizer to .4055 and resized some 41 mag...

Appears the 40-65 is based on the 45-70, 40-60 is its own thing. May be able to get by with a bushing neck die. Have some jameson brass coming, will have a better idea then.

I use a precision delta 148 hbwc in my Davis model 10. These groups were with 2.9 Bullseye but I get similar results with WST and Titegroup. They are around 750 fps.

Unique works fine....1 1/2" groups at 50 yd. 7.5 gr/140 HC .358 dia, LP primer. Neck sized, roll crimp (xp100)...

I seat LP .010 deeper than LR, which is the difference in primer thickness. Haven't noticed any lag.
Zero difference in accuracy with mouse fart loads. 35 rem / Titegroup.

Tried the load at 100 yds today with the magnetospeed attached. Very impressive SD 3, ES 9, AV 1086 fps. Drop the load a tenth or two and call it good.
