I have done it three time and really enjoy it. I didn't agree with every single thing, but for the most part it is very good training. Expect to be tired when it's all over.

I think it's fine. My set up is made from 3/4" particle board but to be honest the bottom is two layers glued and screwed together, but it has no legs and is still very rigid.

I hate CCI primer for just that reason. They are way too hard to seat for my taste. Wolf and Winchester slide right in for me, but I'm going to try the spacer just to see the difference.

I see. Well I bet it would be simple to mock something up as a spacer to at least try it. Can't hurt to try, right.

So you are just making "priming" happen at a different portion of the handle stroke?

I checked mine last night and with the handle all the way up / shell plate all the way down, the primer seater hex is bottomed out on the cast base of the press, so I don't understand what the spacer...

I use the #1 plate for 45ACP tightened all the way down and it doesn't bind. If the plate is not advancing all the way you need to adjust the two little dogs on the toggle.

Mine uses a 5 gallon bucket with four mixing paddles and turns at 30 RPM. Works great.

I called Lee today and told them what happened. They are sending me a new die body for free. No need to send the old one in because they are aware of a small batch of 9mm dies that had this problem,...

By the way, I have no connection with LNLPTX. I just use their product and I'm a firm believer in passing the word on when something works right.

In case anybody has this same question, I just got off the phone with Lee and they say that the dies are the same. They just add the FCD to the box.

Do you have a picture, or can you give a description? I'm sure no matter what it is, someone here will know.
