So, the old 40-82 Winchester which has a slight bottle neck would NOT be legal, but the 40-82 Rhodes (both formed from 45-90 brass) which has no bottle neck WOULD be legal. That makes NO sence.

Generally speaking long pointy bullets require a LOT more spin to stabilize than rounder points like the Elliptical or even the Money points.

Right now I only own 4 BPCR's, a Pedersoli, a Shiloh, a Browning, and a Hepburn. What I have found out is that once I get them dialed in the target can't tell the difference.

Just curious, is the rifle Mr. Goodman has coming a standard 18 twist? That DDPP bullet is 1.46 long I believe, that is going to be right on the edge with an 18 twist even in a 45-100? Or am I wrong?...

Do you wet the patch prior to wrapping, or do you dip the bullets after you wrap them? What benefits have you had with the Rooster Jacket over a plain dry patch? How are wiping between shots.
