I've never had an issue with 38 brass and soup can wadcutters. I wonder if the boolit doesn't care if it is swaged a little at the bottom.

Tried an RCBS expander die and the Lee 38 S&W plug. No dice.

I should just load up a box and try it for accuracy.

Hey all, I'm still a bit of a casting newbie and I'm looking to buy a new 9mm mold.

I currently own a Lee 120 TC six cavity and a H&G 115 which was custom ordered to be undersized for some reason....

Oddly enough, I am using a flat top punch. The bottom punch is slightly concave which didn't help. Some I definitely bashed the noses on when sizing and I had to toss 'em.

I'm using a Lyman 450.

I have a Lyman 311316 I want to upgrade to a double cavity. Similar to the Lee. I love the boolit but the flat points jam in my M1 Carbine.

I am pretty sure the cause of the defect was factory burrs or damage. The bullets will not drop without persuasion so I probably damaged them further.
