Just recieved mine and found the same thing. Very hard to pour into the little holes. Have to line up the spout for every hole and if any lead spills into the next hole it blocks up. Makes casting...

I put the 2 fire bricks in the bottom of the oven to act as a heat sink. Seems to help with heat loss. Temperature still drops from 200deg to about 175 when a new tray of boolits is put in but...

I have 2 of the original run that I use in a .38 marlin for cowboy action shooting. Feeds extra well in the Marlin.

Maybe time to bring this thread back to the top to show that there was significant interest in the ballisticast lubesizer.

Is the clear tube that holds the bullets prior to sizing, an item that you can buy several of? I am thinking having several of these preloaded with boolits with maybe an R clip to hold them in place...
