I did look at the target this weekend more closely. There is a small amount of surface rust on the exposed surfaces. I had painted over it, but that makes the most sense so far. Will have to try...

Ok I like this theory. I did paint it, but it may have had rust spots on the surface. Interesting.
It was cloudy and getting dark. So I don’t think so.
I didn’t take the time to inspect the steel itself. I’ll inspect and report back.
The steel is not grounded. It is bolted on to a 2x4 that is slid into a wood stand.
I took some out of town folks shooting yesterday evening. We shot until close to dark. The last rifle we shot was a 458 SOCOM. I noticed a small spark when the bullets made impact with the AR500...

Watching with interest. I’m not a fan of the old style.

CFE Pistol is my current favorite. Red dot and True Blue are also very clean. BNE

I like both companies and their products. I hope this works out well for all of us.

Thank you for the report. I’m going g to try some.

I suspect some of the younger crowd have no idea what a “short” is. I’ve had a lot of fun with them in the past. Maybe they are saving money by not engraving that on the cylinder?

Everything about this screams scam. And “ghost guns” are only going to get you in trouble.
Forum: Cast Boolits
Yesterday I cast 1000+ 150 grain bullets for a 9mm. Today I powder coated most of those and then I assembled about 200 pieces of 0.38spl.

More kids need that kind of "Ruining". Some of my favorite memories are fishing with my Grandfather. Can't wait to take my Granddaughter.... She's only 8 months old right now.
Good for you man....
I use a tool bag from a hardware store for all the “stuff”. Ear pro, markers, tools, misc ammo, cleaning stuff. Lots of choices depending on what you want to carry.
I am fortunate that I can...
Heavy for caliber is my preferred way. 1/7 twist should be enough to stabilize.
Keep us posted.

I have been reloading for 24 years now. I have all my fingers and all my guns have not been hurt. I highly appreciate the input and that is why I asked. I have never gone higher than a published...
Thank you for looking it up in all of those books. I am more interested in the "Shooters experience" than I am a super power load. I powder coat, so I will see if I get leading. Why do it? Good...
Lots of looks, but no input..... Has anyone loaded a 95 grain bullet in a 357? I may have to test and report back.
I make a load with a 125 grain bullet and H110. I think 21 grains? (Sitting in a Drs office waiting to be seen, so the load data may be off. It is the max recommended in either my Lee or Speer...
