Gentlemen Thank you for such a fine thread. I have a early army navy that I need to fabricate ammo for some day. My initial loads consisted of the hbwc variety but shot lousy still. It has the old...
Been following the hammer studd issue on a few other forums.
It's a shame s&w chooses to go the route they do.
I have more than a few older s&w revolvers.
They seem destined to piss off the gun...
Exactly.
Were Ruger to sit on their butts and ignore market trends like modern pistols and what their customers and public want, they would soon be out of buisness.
Like it or not, blued steel...
Well I have one and it's a pile.
First thing was that it had been dropped and they couldn't bother to polish out the dent and machining marks on the barrel.
Then it spit lead all over the place....
Yeahs I am.
Will be purchasing one as soon as practical.
And yes I do have 22tcm, a ria and Glock 17 conversion barrel.
This is one of the older ones that take a healed bullet. Dia ahead of the case 375 or so.
Cylinder is bored straight threw.
I do have a later version in 38special.
Freinds, I have an old army navy with the old black powder bore and bored threw cylinder.
I don't wish to buy a mold for this as I am not going to shoot it alot.
Who sells the proper healed...
I know this is a month old thread but, if you have the scratch, a eaa tanfoglio witness is not too bad.
I actually have a cz97 bd and a witness 45 and prefer the witness.
Sure the Cz is put...
Nope that's kool.
I did scuff up the insert removing the case. It must be soft. The die was brandy new.
Well that's what I did to remove it.
Put the die in a padded vice then unscrewed it.
Damaged the insert thing a bit so I had to put it in the lathe and clean it up with my dremel.
But the case...
Well dummy me.
Been reloading for better than 30 years.
So what's the first thing I do after getting my new dies?
I put the size die in and scrunch in a dry case. :veryconfu

I have two bowmonts. Yeah I can't spell it.
Both in original configuration.
Following this thread.
I've shot both.
Had to make an ejector for one of them.
Well, I bought the midway dies.
Rip ccard.
Those 45 clot dies are on sale.

I use a hot plate for pre heating and keeping molds hot. However, the smallest bullet I cast for is 32. I had debated on getting one of those Lee 22 molds like you have there op but I can't see...
Aww heck I'm not here to soak up the generosity of you longer time members. Just bought a neat tool and had to ask about. Not sure if I'll even use it too much. I have two manwell presses and an old...
Yeah I'd prolly trade any caliber complete set for the like shape 44 set up. I am thinking 45 clot would be the one to have. I've an idea to make a special boxed thing for my uncle as he is...
My tcm set is ch4d with Lee fcd added. I need to go cut a 22 cal m style size button for it I want to load cast.
I use the fcd to remove that tiny lip at the case mouth that is sometimes left over....
Alright friends, stopped by my favorite pawn shop, they do my transfers when I buy a gun off the intertubes, and they had what appeared to be a complete 310 setup with 4 dies and aluminum handle. ...

Well I think the nagants hit me harder than my m95. As long as I don't have my thumb behind the bolt. Then it will smack my thumb into my lip. I hate fat lip. Wish I'd have bought 4 or 5 of these...
