About to take another stab at mixing my own lube.
First try was Satan lube that I poured in muffin tins, but it sure was messy and the lube was hard to scrape completely out of the tins. It still worked pretty well for pan lubing.
This time I intend to make a simple recipe of beeswax & Vaseline for use in a lubrisizer.
Any suggestions for a simple lube mold?
1 inck PVC pipe. Cut to length, cap one end (drill cap for dowel if needed). GW

I just use a heat gun to melt my lube pouring it into the reservoir.
Not really a mold, but I use recycled tunafish cans to pour my homemade SL68B lube, I just store it in them.

Melt the lube in the pot and pour it into the lube reservoir ...

No mold needed. I use Pyrex measuring cups. Melting the smallest (1 cup) is easy in a microwave and pour into the reservoir. This completely fills the lube-sizer with no air bubbles. You can mold your homemade lube in a larger Pyrex cup/pan or a small bread loaf pan lined with plastic wrap. When the lube cools just wrap it in the plastic. ( Saran Wrap)
I made one to make solid sticks for a Magma star. I never tried the hollow stick mold, but heating a solid stick and pouring it into a RCBS sizer is no big deal.
I use a 2' piece of 1" copper pipe. When the Felix lube is ready I pour it in the pipe and let it stiffen up. Then I heat the outside of the pipe with a torch and push the stick of lube out with a 1" wooden dowel. I cut it into 2-3/4" pieces which fit great in the star. Been doing it this way for over 20 years now. Luckily the star doesn't need a hollow center in the stick of lube.
I let Lars at White Label Lube mold my lube. Easy Peasy!
I use pvc pipe cut to length and made a plywood base with drilled holes to accept the pipe. I also drilled a smaller center hole to hold a wooden dowel to make hollow lube sticks. Works great.
For rifles, I let the elfs at Lyman pour up Orange Magic for me.
For handguns, I have a old Stainless Steel bowl with my secret mystery mix of
old fu-fu candles I liberated from Mrs. Winger and disc brake grease in it.
When I'm done with a sitting, I melt it with a torch and pour it into my RCBS sizer.
That explains the "girly" scent when you are at the pistol range! :)
