Looks like I'll soon be ready to reload the above cartridge.
I have a Lyman two die set, but haven't purchased shell holder for my RCBS press.
I see .45-70 shell holders are available.
Will this work?
Thanks,
Dave

Yes
45-70,45-90,45-100,45-110 and 120 all use the same shell holder.
And just in case someone wonders, that same shell holder also fits the 40-65
And the 40-82 WCF....and anything else based on the 45-70 case, lengthened or otherwise.
Gents, you missed some other calibers too …

So I ordered a RCBS #18.
It's been two years since I ordered a Lyman three die set for my 45-120 from Grafs. Many honey-do projects and searching for brass caused the delay.
Old timer's disease and/or general mutton head and I forgot the set included a 'free' shell holder. Oh well, two is better than none.

If you dig around, somebody sells basic .45 rimmed brass.
You have to cut it from the .45-120 length to what ever you need down to I think .45-60.
Thanks.
I need .45-120. Norma offers it at 50 pc., but apparently they don't make it until they get enough interest to justify their set up. I've been working through Grafs, but its a slow go.
I found some Bertram brass through Bob at Colorado Custom Cartridges. Bertram is an Australian company. ...go figure. The land of banned guns.
I feel for you on the brass , I bought a Pedersoli in 40-90 sharps straight , came with about 15 cases and dies and a mold , I bought 3 boxes of the Bertram stuff from Grafs and almost ordered 3 more but put off spending the money for 3 more and poof they were gone .
I keep looking for some and one place shows some but 88 bucks for 20 they also show 45-120 at 133 bucks for 20 , I will keep waiting .
