I have sent him a couple pm’s. No reply.
Sorry about the slow response here guys, I was out of town for a few days and fell a little behind. All PM's have now been replied to.

I'd like to order a die for an older star machine, along with a flat punch. To size 20:1 metal to .315". I understand it's $63.00. If this is correct I pay you via. PayPal. I'm a many time returning customer.

Do you make a die insertion and removal tool? If so, what's the pricing?
Just bought my first Star. So, I'll be needing some stuff once I finish slugging all my 9mm barrels.
Thanks
Spoke with Lathesmith and he does make the die removal tool.
Hey Lathesmith, could you make me a sizing die please? I sent you a PM.
TIA.
I've just bought an older Star sizer .. not received it yet , but its not coming with a die removal tool . Is it possible to swap dies without this tool ?
Yes but it would be a chore but not impossible/ I would order the tool from Magna.
Take Care
Bob
Thanks Bob
Are you still making dies? Need a SAECO Lubrisizer die to produce .287 diameter bullets. Can you make it? If so, pls send cost and contact details (henkdan@hotmail.com or Ph 828-440-1029). Thanks!
I've seen a YouTube vid .about removing dies . apparently I just need a broom handle handle and a mallet ..
Can be done that way but the removal tool is far easier and less prone to causing damage. Those aluminum cast pieces can crack if your not careful so I recommend the removal tool. Not sure if Lathesmith is still making them but if not they pop up on eBay pretty regularly.
In-related but if you do have one with a cracked part Magma used to repair them and did a great job on my original San Diego Star sizer so highly recommend reaching out to them and seeing if they can help. Took a while due to their work load and labor struggles (and that was pretty-pandemic) but was worth the wait.
