I have a big can like that, snagged at a gunshow. It seems to have a lb or so and smells fine. One side has a long list of rounds, by Sharpy. 100 at a time and crossed off. Must add to couple thousand loaded.
i have the predisessor to it HI SKOR SHOTGUN POWDER no number like 700x 800x
ONLY MADE 1962 -1964 POWDER IS STILL GOOD will post the cans (black & white) if someone wants them when there empty not right now
I picked up three cans of 700-X at an estate sale for $2.00 a can. All cans are still sealed.
Went through a bunch of that in the 80's & 90's loading 12 gauge target loads. IIRC I used to get it in 5lb containers with a pull up spout.
700x is good stuff.
I just make dippers from cartridge cases and wire and solder or epoxy to use aluminum cases.
Dippers are almost fast as a crank powder measure and don't need to zero it in.
Making a new dipper is quick and easy to change loads .Just need a scale to weigh the starting and final charge.
Good luck!
got this in a sale...has some powder but im afraid to use it.
