Walked through the Outdoor Sports of my local Farm & Fleet store this morning and, instead of last week's completely empty shelves, found quite a bit of ammo in stock. No .22 rimfire but lots of bulk-pack 5.56...mostly green-tip SS109...some commercial .308 WCF, 30-30, and 30-06 and, even, a considerable amount of Wolf 7.62x39. Prices were still fairly high but down 10-20% from where they were a couple weeks ago. Could be things are looking up a little.

A few weeks ago Scheel's in Springfield il. Had pretty much all calibers on the shelves.

Scheels in Dallas has most common calibers available.
Pistol ammo ranges from $0.40/rnd to over $1.
Rifle ammo is more like $0.85/rnd to almost $2.
Very few bulk packs, except for 5.56.
The cheaper stuff is almost all steel or aluminum case.
I haven't been able to bring myself to buy any. Still too expensive for the quality.
I am, however, watching the used firearms. Lots of stuff coming in from 2020 buyers who couldn't feed them.

My local gunshop has had the shelves stocked for a couple of months. powder too, but no primers. as I do not need anything I did not ask the prices. and yes, a bit of .22 rimfire also.

Went into a local farm and ranch store and they had some 380 ammo for a not horrible price. Had a gift card with some $$ left. Bought the card at a 10% discount, so ended up paying $17 a box. Sure beats the $50/box price I saw at a gun show not long ago.
Our lgs is looking much fuller in the ammo section too. I don't buy much factory ammo so I did not look at prices. Primers and powder are still pretty much awol.
I was just at Dunham's and they were pretty well stocked. I not only found what I was looking for, but had options in that area as well!
Runnings is about 30% stocked but no one I know can afford to buy any of it. 223 Winchester super X 20 rounds is 38.89 a box. Remington core lock in 30-06 20 rounds was 69.97. Walmart had some AA shot shells but once again $38 a box for 12g. 50 bucks for bulk 325 boxes of junk .22's.
Starting to see ammo but I am not seeing it being sold to anyone. Guys behind the counter are telling me everyone is jumping for joy when they see it until they see the price then its a gripe fest. Hopefully this will change soon.
Local stores are getting in some stock. Academy's prices aren't bad, I guess. I haven't bought ammo in decades. No one had anything I shoot before the Wuhan flu so they darn sure don't have it now. As was mentioned, primers are still unobtanium. Some powders are showing up, none I've ever heard of. I'll continue to wait.
My LGS has LOTS(!!) of ammo. Not much rimfire, but plenty of centerfire. Lots of Russian and Federal. I didn't look for hunting ammo.
