I really want to see the Girsan Hi-Power. A guy I shoot with bought one of the Tisas models and it was pretty rough. It took a lot of work and parts swapping to get a gun that would run 100%.

Me too. The EAA products I have looked at seem to be well made so hopefully that will be the case here.

And dont forget, every batch of parkerizing formula can leave a different color tone, toss in the lights used to do the video and photos, and the actual cameras used to do the video or photos...

Forget the Girsan. I'll pick up the Springfield Armory version. I have a feeling that the SA product is going to stomp the Girsan version.

How 'bout one of each? That is my plan!

I held and examined a Tisas 1911a1 yesterday at a gun store. It felt and looked like quality to me. I own three Turkish made shotguns that are built and fitted very well. I'm ready for Turkish copies of Colt SAAS, Mauser 98s, Winchester 94s, etc.
