It's a very fun cartridge. Don't leave any .300BO ammo close to a 5.56/.223 rifle if other shooters are present. I like the 110gr V-Max and Speer 150gr fn for hunting and pull down 147gr fmj for practice. Mine has a 1-7" twist and I haven't found an accurate cast load- but I only shoot supersonic loads.

The Lee C312-155-2R works well for me at 1,733 fps average. I know powder coating is all the rage, but I use conventional lube.

I use a 145gr rnfp @ 2k fps, works excellent. Got a GC version too.
I use 230g plain base. shake and bake powder coated, sized to groove diameter using case lube, with 9.5 to 11g H-110 at around 1,000 fps. Holds to 1/2 inch at 50 yards with a can. It does not anchor a big hog with one shot. So be careful.
