I'm in the market and looking for opinions. Specifically the Fullfield e2 vs the Crossfire 2.
They're priced similar, same replacement warranty. I believe both built in the Philippines. Hopefully someone here as had experience with both.

Vortex all the way. I think Burris is going out of business.
Of those two Burris.That model of Vortex is made in China.That model Burris is made in the Philippines.I have several Burris Fullfields both older and newer good scopes.I have some Vortex Diamondback and Vipers no Crossfires but I know people who have them also know some that had to go back.Vortex replaced them no questions but going thru sending a scope back is a PITA.
I have 2 new Burris Fullfield 3x9 scopes. I am very happy with both of them.

I have Burris Fullfield II in 2-7x35 (2), 3-9x40 (2), 4.5-14x40 (3) and a 6-20x50. I find the Burris to have the best cost-benefit of most scopes. I have a bunch of Leupold's and some Nikon's along with others. I use the two 4.5-14 Burris for load development, they have high round counts on 30-30, 32 Special, 35 Rem, 308 Win and 358 Win without problem. I have not tried Vortex, as I have always liked the Burris scopes, and have a couple older ones not Fullfield. Sometimes the only reason I swap to a Leupold is to save a few ounces for the high country carrying rifles, not because they are better. I don't guess I have any of those $700 Plus scopes, Leopold VX-3i are the highest dollar wise.
i use leupold freedom scopes and one vortex ler crossfire scope. i can't complain about either of them, but deer do...er, well they would [smilie=l:.

I have 2 Burris E1 mv’s. They are only outperformed by my Leupold vx3’s in the evening when shooting to the west I feel. Never cared for vortex and chose my Burris’s over them. I don’t own a Fullfield II but think they are very close to the E1’s. My E1’s are very close to my Nikon monarchs. With no Nikons anymore, Burris will be my value choice if a used Leupold can’t be procured.
in my opinion at the same price level the vortex will have better glass and ill add that ive had more burris scopes go bad then any other brand. Still have a couple but wont buy any more.
