redo the stock
last time i was asking you guys what would take the Johnsons' paste wax off of my rifle, but i didn't. i instead took Citri-strip and took everything off. i sanded with 400 grit and then copper wool. then i cheese clothed it and put 5 coats of Minwax Antique Oil. then i put 3 coats of Minwax Poly oil/mineral spirits (3:1). i didn't feel the need to rotten stone/3in1 oil, it was smooth and shiny!!!

That stock looks great.
Nice work.
That is a great looking stock like the type of wood and details like the shaping and the way the nose cap in installed.

thank you!!!
all i did was finish it, Richards Micro-fit gunstocks did the rest.

The finish you did actually brings out the details or shape of the stock.

A beautiful rifle. A stepped barrel with open sights. Still has the factory turned down bolt handle and safety. A true gentleman's sporting rifle, like the ones from a time gone by. Excellent work.

Outstanding, and a lefty no less!
