WTB Mossberg Cartridge Cutoff Spring

Looking for the spring for my old Mossberg .22 rifle built in 1939 as shown in the picture below. This is a longshot as they pretty rare. Any help is appreciated.

Shameless bump for the cause, cause I need this spring. I'll entertain buying a parts rifle that has the spring also.

Slim, does that 22 have a model number on it ? Have you looked at Numrich gun parts ?

I have, and many others, thanks.

It's a Mossberg M51 made in 1939 for the Spiegel company of which only a couple of thousand were produced. It has the Mannlicher stock.

I'm hoping now more of a parts gun if I can find on providing the spring is there.

Have you checked Havlin Sales? They specialize in parts for Mossbergs (.22 rifles and shotguns). Good people to do buisness with.

Slim, I searched GB and found if you enter " mossberg 51m " there are 3 listings, 2 of which looks like they might have your part. good luck.

If you look at the parts diagram on GB, the 51m has a completely different cutoff (part #50-8) than a M51 as shown in my OP. I do appreciate your research though, I've been looking there for months.
