Was at my GF's place helping clean around their sheds and found these little gems tucked away

Got to talking and ends up her dad has a few muzzleloaders he used to cast for but she cut the conversation.pretty quick after that because she said we'd be out there for the next few hours talking lol

If you are interested in muzzle loading, try to work up a deal for the bullets and the rifle that fits them (And the mold). Muzzle loaders are is as short supply as everything else. And those are primo hunting bullets. Look for powder and percussion caps , too
Always nice to find interesting stuff in unexpected places! Now if you don’t have that caliber you have something else too buy!

The look like the T/C Maxi Hunter. IIRC Lyman had several bullet molds with similar shapes, but, I believe they were flat nose.
TC sold Maxi hunter molds but I believe the HP was swedged, I never saw a TC hp mold.
her dad made his own trays ---- that's cool. Not pretty but functional (like stuff I made :) )
I have a hollow point thompson center 50 caliber mold ,, they called it the maxi hunter and those look identical to the ones I have cast .
Been wanting to for a while but gotta wait to get what I want. Really want kinda a .32 cal muzzleloader set up to be kinda a target rifel type thing. Seems goofy but it's what I'd prefer.Quote:
