I see we have the same gun same chrono and almost the same mold (mine has the grease grooves). My penta pins are coming out @ 430 with gas check and powdercoated. I live in Minnesota so snow is no stranger around here ! If i could figure out how to upload photos i would be allot more active on this forum.Quote:

How do you like your SBL? I find this the easiest shooting Marlin I've handled,also in the recoil management department. I've handled quite a few.
Well, I know I'm late to the party, but I have JUST started warming up my mold for the first time tonight. Being that I designed this thing, you'd think I would be faster to jam it in cases...
So- I'm looking to hear from you, those that have used it, have you cast with the blank? I'm seeing 440g with a GC using WW's. I'm sure I can get heavier, but I want this thing to hit HARD!!
How fast have you run it so far? I'm hoping that with 3031 I can get close to 1900fps. Am I nuts?
