AUCTION (100% to site): Redfield sourdough front sight blade

Original Redfield front sight blade (not a repro), fits into a longitudinal slot. and is secured by a pin. "Sourdough" style, with a chunk of brass bonded into the top front corner and faced off at 45 degrees to catch the light.

The mounting tab on the bottom fits a slot about .113" wide, and the top of the sight blade is about .220" above the bevel where the tab goes into the slot. (You can see the shadow of this bevel right above the word "REDFIELD" in the 1st pic.)

One owner (me), bought in the 1970's (I think), never installed anywhere.

I'd like to auction this 100% for the site, which means if you're the high bidder, please pay your entire bid amount to Willy Snyder, as described in the fundraising header above. Then PM me your address (US only, please), and I will send you the sight blade. I will pay shipping.

I don't know, but I can measure it and provide more dimensions (and pics) if you like.

Maybe another member could describe what it takes to fit a 1903 Springfield?
