Making round balls for shooting fun!

Man its nice when then temperature cools off and you can get back to casting. Had a good weekend casting .380 and .490 round balls for newly kit built muzzle loader and 1851 Navy percussion revolver. When everything comes together it reminds me of why I started casting in the first place. Saving money, stress relief and the passion for doing things for yourself! Now if percussion caps will show up, I will be a happy man. The flintlock will do fine with the round balls, but that 1851 Navy needs caps :( Cast on brothers and enjoy muzzle loaders and black powder shooting forever.

That is the nice thing about shooting BP.
Most items are basic , and you can make stuff you need , when you need it.
And things can be made without buying a bunch of tools
