I have a lee .379 250 mold. Not sure if this helps. Round is for a 38-55. I can be emailed at caspiker85@gmail.com.
Bullets drop at around.380 255 in pure lead
The .38-40 round actually mikes ~.401", so projectiles for a .38-55 would be too small.
I still cannot believe that nobody has posted that they have one of these.
I really must be looking for a unicorn to feed my unicorn....(Winchester 92 saddle ring carbine w/octagon barrel) ((lettered by Winchester)).
I find a very rare rifle, dropped on me by a stroke of luck, and I cannot even find someone who even has the mold for it.
LOL, I bought a Lyman mold similar to it, but the Real McCoy would be nice.
Maybe you need a Lyman mould. Lyman moulds are not usually unicorn teeth!
Look at NOE & Accurate molds.
Several years ago I used bullets intended for a 10mm handgun for the only 38-40 I ever loaded for. They worked well. I think I recall Lee makes a truncated cone mold in .401?
Good Luck to you,
Rick
Missouri Bullet has several bullets for the 38 WCF. Click here: https://missouribullet.com/results.p...5&secondary=22
Not the Hensley, per se, but I have had great success in feeding both my Model 1892 .38WCF with bullets cast by Oregon Trails. They shoot well and do not lead.

I have a 38-40 mould for my Magma Master Caster that really knocks out boolits. This mould is a flat nose bevel base 180gr that I shoot in my 73' Winchester and 1894 Marlin. Have a STAR luber set up too. How many do you want? I am in SW Pennsylvania. How far are you?
