Bought Sharpe's book, "Complete Guide to Handloading", years ago. It is the third edition (originally published in 1937). Most concepts are still good, but equipment/supplies have changed.

I've enjoyed reading Sharpe's book and my copy is not for sale, it's primary value to me is the history. It's not "Complete" anymore (actually it never was). Powders, bullets and available tools have advanced so much there is no point in trying to use it as a current reloading reference. IMHO.

Yes-- but there are lots of old tricks using cast bullets that have been 'lost' over time too. I go back to Phil Sharpe's stuff every now and then just to find things that have been forgotten.Quote:
