A Mosin at a yard sale is cool enough, but a Westinghouse? Holy carp, I wanna go to a yard sale like that!
Yeah no kidding!!!!! I’ve only seen 2 westing houses out in the wild and I bought both
There is a Finn capture here standing next to his Matching Remington near mint step brother and then all the Commy cousins!
I wish I had never sold my Westinghouse Mosin.
Was it still original or had bubba worked on it? I have a Remington that was "improved by bubba".
Guns at a garage sale, you lucky dog. Reminds me when NY used to be a free state.
The rifle was sported by some gunsmith some where. The barrel cut and redone. Monty carlo stock Walnut oiled. Bolt polished. Bore is like new shiny no crude and no rust. Custom made peep sight, hooded front
sight.Stock pad falling apart. Shoots super Lee 150 soup canand 12g of Green Dot. I already love this rifle.
Picture in the test area,trying to post pictures. Priced very right rifle, two pounds of powder and 100 10mm bullets.

Only firearm I ever found at a yard sale was a 12 ga, 30", full choked, bolt action missing the box magazine for $5.
Never seen one. Good for you. Had a guy I know tell me about a 1911 he had from his father and wanted to shoot so said sure. Not a gun guy and when he handed me the Singer I almost stroked out.
Found and bought a very ratty Visible Loader thats out in my shed. Haven’t done anything with it.

Some guys get all the luck ! The only thing they have at garage sales around here are baby clothes, baby toys, anything else for a baby or a toddler and a lot of junk! I’m 65 years old I ain’t having no more babies! And I got enough of my own junk certainly don’t need to be buying somebody else’s!
