.45 Caliber ACP Shotshell Loads...
Is anyone making .45 Caliber Shot Shells for use in a 1911 Auto. Not a new pistol, original 1911.
How much and what powder are you using? Do they cycle in a 1911 Auto?
A friend saw my 38 Special Shotshells I just made up and asked if I could make some in 45 for him.
Not really sure if they will cycle in the pistol smoothly, that's the reason for the question and load data.
Thanks for the help.

I have made them. It's not hard. I have the Lyman 41 mag dies, and also have the rcbs 45 shotshell die set that they do not make any more.
The rcbs dies are better, but nothing wrong with the 41 mag die way.
There used to be great videos on ammo channel on how to do it, but YouTube is lame and doesn't allow reloading videos so the links are broken.
However, the how to is still up. You can still buy the August 1979 edition of handloader magazine. (Here) https://www.wolfeoutdoorsports.com/h...-80-july-1979/
It’s about $10 It has all the info you need.
