That's beautiful.
That's beautiful.
Nicely done
The main thing that got me about the pill bottle trickler was the heavy base, so the darn thing wouldn't move around on you when you're trying to trickle powder. I copied that idea to a T.
I actually didn't think the brass would be massive enough, so I had planned on machining out a cavity and filling it with lead. Esentially doing the same thing Red did.
However, it turned out that the operation was so smooth (who'da thunk! Aluminum on brass = fairly good bearing surface) that It works like a champ just as is!
Beats the heck out of my buddies plastic Hornady that skips around all over the place!
Good call Red!
smart xxx's are in the building. building.. ;)
Hey goodsteel quit trying to make all of us look bad!
I really really wasn't trying to do that. I just got carried away.
All I started for was a trickler with a heavy base, and I happened to have a chunk of brass there. Then, I dropped the tool in the holder when it was too close, and it gouged the outside of the cup, so I had to make it look like I meant to do that, so I put in all those beauty rings. LOL!
Hey, dig this one. I made this Lee style loader to reload 500 Jeffery cartridges!

Good times!
Now he really is showing off.
Nice work Tim. Now show us the bullet moulds you have made.
I hope Tim doesn't get mad at me for showing these photos of a mold he made for me...a fat 45 heavy (290+) for 45 colt. Just a note, Tim told me he doesn't want to get into the mold making biz.

I know he doesn't want o get into mould making but has made a few, that is why I asked!
Nice looking mould he did for you. Shoots well I bet.
Tim, that trickler looks great. It is a thing of beauty
Yeah, it's hard to compete with Accurate molds. LOL!
I highly recommend Tom.
Still, I had fun making a few molds, but found out rather quickly that its tough to bore cavities without a CNC.
WOW, nice Tim.
