Yes, special order.
It was advertised in the Lyman Cast Bullet hand books and some early reloading manuals.
They, if genuine, should have the bullet number stamped on the outside. Maybe even the cherry number, as well.

Cruise the Goon Shows watching for old Lyman/Ideal loading books. There is a wealth of information within them. Much of what we are trying to do today was done back in the 1950's.
