Interesting, but promising results with the Russian Grizzly slugs
I took a couple Grizzly slugs and screw them to a flexseal wad with 36 grs of Steel. Test gun was my Savage 212 at 50 yards. 2.75” Fiocchi wad w/roll crimp. Roll crimp used was a GAEP OTP. Produces a beautiful crimp.
First two shots hit same hole. Pulled the 3rd. Should of loaded more.

Eh, oh well. Judging by my velocities, that one should have been higher.
I’ll get’em next time, champ. [emoji1474]

Yessir. Pretty simple. Then I take a small drill bit and drill a starter hole in the wad. There’s a small nipple dead Center of the wad and that’s what I use has a guide for the center.

Champ????
Good catch. Even more promising now. I’ll load up a few more.
And yeah, “champ”. Something wrong with that? Wasn’t meant trying to be offensive.
