Anyone try cutting down 300 win brass to make 350 Rem cases? I have a neck turner, so thicker sidewalls shouldn't bother me too much. Any thoughts?

Might be easier to do with 7mm Rem Mag as the donor case, because the shoulder is farther back already.
Other than that, I don't see a problem as long as you have a hefty press and a good set of dies.
One of the ~$40.00 Harbor Freight mini chop saws help a lot when shortening cases that much.

Easily done
Get a 350 Rem Mag trim die.
Imperial sizing wax
Run them up into the die, use a small jewelers hack saw to cut them off

Final trim and chamfer
Size in Regular Full length sizing die, load as normal

I cut off some 300 Win cases and now I can't find my 350 Rem dies. I need a bigger shop.
Luckily Midway had 1 set of Lee's in stock, so I jumped on them.

I've done it, and it is a lot of work compared to buying 350 brass. I needed to neck turn. On the other hand, it may be a long time before 350 brass is available again, and it is comforting to know you can do it if you have to.
I tried 3 cases and the necks crumpled.
I may have to see if I can push them up into a 375 Ruger or RUM die first...
I have done 45-70 into a 350 sizer before and it turned out great.
I posted a WTB in the swapping and selling and have 100+ cases coming in the mail.

I cut a couple off and stuffed them up into a 375 RUM size die first, then ran them slowly into the 350 die. I got a couple of small lube wrinkles on the shoulder, but they will probably iron out on firing.
With the 350 brass being shipped, I'll just save the 300Win brass to feed the 300 Win.
At least you have proved to yourself that it is possible fro you to form the needed cases. You also learned or relearned that it is much easier to buy the correct cases, if they are available.

To the point of sizing incrementally and wiping the neck shoulder repeatedly. OCD kind of clean on the neck and shoulder and the lube dents have a good chance of disappearing.
Just did some 7 Remington Mag to 7x61 S&H and without being wacko nuts about no lube I was getting lube dents.
It's a good feeling to know that you are not dependent factory brass.
I have found that 338 win mag is the best parent case to make 350 mag
Plus stepping up with the 338 makes the 350 conversion much easier after you anneal the neck.
