I have been using a RCBS press mounted swager and it is wearing me out, What do you use and how do you rate it. I'm trying to get some input on what to look for to help out the process and speed up the process if possible.

I have the Lyman electric prep station and I use the reamer on it to take out the primer pocket crimp, but I have seen people use the LEE chamfering tool to remove the primer crimp as well. The Lyman electric prep station is very nice!! I can process a lot of brass with it compared to doing it my old way...by hand!
Right now I'm using a $1 countersink bit from HFT to remove the crimp; you get what you pay for. I'd like to upgrade to a Dillon or RCBS pocket swaging setup, but I guess they are slower than a chamfering tool or countersink bit.

Dillon swage. I have tried other methods over the last 50 years but came to this about 10 years ago. Don't need to look farther.
Im using the dillion super swage now and until I find something better. I have used reamers, The rcbs press mounted swage, deburring tools both standard wilson and VLD. The dillion is heads above everything else I have used so far. After thousands of rounds of mil surpluss 308 and 223 ( high power shooter 3 family members competeing) The dillion has done a bunch
Dillon
Wilson primer pocket reamer tool in a Wilson case trimmer. It leaves a nicely radiused edge to the pocket, can not deepen pocket or deform the case rim. I have one for every primer size I load, and they're cheaper and smaller than having a dedicated pocket swager.
I saw that the RCBS copy of Dillon is lacking on standing up to the job, They say the cast aluminum body starts to wallow out. I have been leaning toward Dillon just did'nt know if there was anything better.
Dillon Swager.
I use the Dillion 600 and like it real well. If you go with the Dillion check out the youtube vidio of the rubber band mod. FB
1/4 drill bit in a cordless drill. Does Small Rifle as well as Large Rifle Primer holes. Just touch it to remove the primer crimp and keep going to the next case in the batch.
chamfer tool on a drill, makes it go really fast. i have a pocket swag tool also just depends on how many you want to do. one is 100X faster then the other.
Dillon. I bought it when I had the extra cash and access to a lot of milsurp brass.

a 1050!
i wish.
I use the Lyman deburring tool. It's attached to the rotary holder which runs in my drill press. Just a touch removes the crimp.

Super 1050 followed closely by the super swage followed closely by a chamfer tool chucked in a drill.
I use both the Dillon 600 Swager and a Weldon DB-18-90 degree countersink for quick jobs. The Dillon 600 works great but for quick jobs or touchups, the Weldon countersink attached to a cordless drill is indispensable. Bought a bag of 10 or so on Ebay for short money.
I have the RCBS bench mounted swager and it works good. No problems so far but I have not done thousands of rounds yet.
Dillon.
Just like others have said, I've tried a demurring tool, chamfer tool, RCBS swage die, and now I use a Dillon. I should of gotten the Dillon a long time ago.
I use the Dillion 600
Grafs has the Dillon 600 in stock so I might as well get it and be done with it.
One thing about it, the Dillon is a one time purchase.

+++ on Dillon.
RCBS primer pocket uniformer in an electric drill.
Ive done over 6000 or my 10k LC odd six cases, and its still going strong
I did about a thousand 223 several years ago with an old lyman hand reamer, was not fun. One day I'll get a dillon when money gets better.
Just ordered a Dillon 600 from Grafs and can't wait to try it out on a barrel of brass, I'll let ya know how it works out for me.
Another vote for Dillon's Super Swage.
Dillon
I started with a pocket knife, worked up to deburring tool in a drill, got RCBS press swage setup, then moved up to the Dillon swage - If I wind the lottery I'll get the Dillon 1050
Dillon swager. No guess work about if you cut too much or too little. You can do 500 pcs so fast you will be looking for more. Many decades I used drill motors, drill presses, counter sinks, reamers etc, etc. Nothing does it so well so quickly. The devise is way over engineered durability wise, and is a pleasure to use. No hand cramps, no fumbling. (Stepping off the soap box now).
The RCBS swager is great, but its too slow for me, and I like a radius-ed pocket to ease primer seating. I've gone back to just using the deburring tool, as even after swaging, I used it to once again ease primer seating. You only have to perform this once on a case, so why not get it over with!
Dillon is the way i went and wont go back to any other.
Started with the rcbs then tried a buddy's dillon.
Get a Dillon.
RCBS press swaging setup for now. I'll get a Dillon Super Swage as soon as I can find one! No one has them in stock right now.
