Great info! +10!
I run onto this quite some time ago. It is a great referance and use it often.
Bookmarked - thanks!
I'd love to find a Lyman 436218 - didn't know it (had) existed until now.
Thanks, got it saved on my favorites site.
Thank you, wonderful link!
An amazing resource there, I refer to it frequently. You did us all a favor, similar to why almost 5 years back I started CB, as a resource to myself but in the process helped a few other folks along the way.
I welcome you to this board and hope you find it as helpful as I find your research and hard work.
Very cool....thank you !!!!
Thank you for the link 45nut, and this awesome site.

BTW guys, in case you didn't know. Wiljen has some FREE software called Reloader's Reference that is easily downloaded and contains among other things a reference section that has a mold look-up that also includes Lee, NEI, RCBS, and SAECO as well as Lyman. It is super handy for loading and the reference section is astounding with the info it has.

Thank you very much for this valuable information. I've misplaced my copy some time ago.
I actually downloaded a copy to my computer and saved it as a "Word" document. Every once in a while I go back to them to see if there are any additions.
They are a great resource and I truly appreciate what they do for us all.
Thanks for the link, I was just wondering if it is out dated, I just ordered a lyman 340 gr in 458, I could be wrong and what I ordered was a Lee, I don't have any idea what the numbers are...........steg
that if nothing else is just kind of fun to look at...
A recent Google search showed this little treasure of reference material.
I printed this off on landscape mode as per suggestion. No more opening up a separate browser and trying to research a mold that is being listed by number on swappin and sellin. Thanks fellers!
Thanks that info helps these days.
Jerry
This is great......Thanks
Also in cast pics is this Ideal/Lyman info...Ideal/Lyman Cherry Numbers & Weights
Attachment 43951
Just curious why the mold I have with 582515 on it isn't listed? Any Idea's It is a single and looks like a 454424 a HP with 3 bands and the bottom is flat. T43950]he handle isn't a lyman nor a lee. Just curious if anyone might know something about it.
Excellent info, thanks.
Also have a "mystery". Single cav round chamber (like small buckshot) with 360 and 49C stamped on it. Anyone know what size/weight it is? Can not find it on that chart or on their site.
ETA--it is a Lyman
Good thread.
I can't tell you how many times I've used the Ol'Buffalo Mold chart when buying or selling molds. A big thank you!

Great chart. I added the top punch when I was first getting into casting about 10 or so years ago. I put it in an excel spreadsheet and did a boat load of copy/paste of pictures of the molds and then added the top punch. I found a similar chart in my wonderings around the internet, it looks like it came from three-peaks. Here is an example of what I did. OOOPPS Where it shows "bitmap" there should be a picture of the bullet, but for some reason it didn't copy from my Excel chart and I don't know why. (computers) There are probably errors but I spent quite a bit of time to get it as accurate as possible and has been a reference for me. Maybe you can show me how to copy the bullet pictures to here.
