Is that 540 can full?
I'm a newb so trying pics of mine...pardon the messy desk. The Red Dot can is unopened, the 296 can I believe is unopened too, it feels full.

I do hope this thread continues! Nothing to share yet, but working on it.
OK, like this thread, but lots of those look like some I load out of right now! I've shot bullseye and Unique that is older than I am :)
Neat to see the old cans! My dad has a small cache of old Goex 2F unopened cans, Everything is plastic bottle stuff now days
OS OK, I like that idea. I have a old can of Unique from the early 60's (?) that I will add a lamp just as you did.
Oldies...

One of my favorites because it belonged to my Dad's collection and he has long since passed. I do not know the history, but assume it predates his use.

Here are some I am still using

! Love that Bullseye Keg...all it needs is a picture of Wylie Coyote with a cannon fuse in his paw...getting ready to fix that blasted Road Runner!
These pictures and the narrative are making me feel even older. I have many of them and some are still full, with prices that astound me today.
My large paper tube of green dot has a $13.79 price, for 8 lbs. There are four W 296 full cans marked $3.77.
So far they're all still just like new.
Part of my small collection ...

I sold several UNopened cans of Herco and 2400 to another member last week. Maybe he'll see this thread and post pics.
Here are the few that I have... The Red dot is the only one that's empty.)

Still haven't figured this one out, but I'm suspecting it's either English or French

I have a few of the little square Hercules tins that still have the sheet metal seal around the cap. I plan to open them and load with it.
I prefer the square ones. They pack better into square boxes than the round plastic jars. For some reason, I don't have the heart to toss them out, either, while the round jars, filled with water, make great plinking targets.

The Elephant and Swiss cans are not all that old, but definitely in the realm of "gone but not forgotten."
The subtle (or not) differences in the labels of cans of the same powder will no doubt excite the "serious collectors" of the future to no end.
At one time that Elephant was my go to Holy Black. AND that AL7 in 1962 was what I used to make those 1&3/8 oz baby mag shells, and they would kill ducks a ways away. Still have a couple oz of that AL7 in the powder magazine. 10

Here's my collection. Minus 3 square tins of reloader. I'm looking for a square tin of green dot or others if anyone is interested in trading.
