Been wanting to add a large frame Stevens Tip Up rifle to my single shot collection for years, but they are quite scarce up here in Canada. Finally found this one in .38-45 Stevens Everlasting. It has some "warts", but it still has a pretty good bore which is important to me. (A bit "scruffy" in the throat, but the rest of the bore is quite good.) I like to shoot all of the guns in my collection ...

Sig Sauer 365. Eleven rounds of 9x19 in a pocket pistol, what's not to like?

I didn't buy it. I earned it. A S70 MK IV Gold Cup National Match. Also a Marlin Golden Boy Mountie.

After years of lusting, I finally did my part for the COVID gun buy panic. Stopped in at Cabela's Saturday and brought home a nice, hardly used CZ 455 that had been in the rack since last July. I put a nice older Tasco 6-18 scope on it and now it's wait, and wait, and wait for the weather to finally realize it is spring and supposed to warm up.

I did it again! (Yes, again ...)
Thank goodness that Canada Post is still working during all of the Covid virus craziness! Today they brought me a little bit of a self-isolation reprieve and delivered the Remington Hepburn in .45-70 Govt that I bought recently.
It's an early 3 digit serial number gun which likely puts it at about 1880 / 1881, and although it has a lot of honestly earned patina (not rusty and crusty, just well enjoyed) it still has a good shooter bore. The tang sight is a reproduction of course and someone has added an extra dovetail slot to the barrel, but I'm still enamored with the old girl at first glance.
(Sigh ... another project gun to go along with all of the OTHER project guns ...)

Australia Post report that volume is 50% above Christmas. People stuck at home buying toys, etc, HaHa.
I found this in the classifieds on another forum. Lyman 1858 Remington .44.

That is nice. I hope you don't mind, I saved the photo as I bought a Uberti version of the same handgun recently and a week before that was given the green felt off a billiards table that was being recovered. When I get the chalk dust out of the felt, I'll try my hand at building a similar case.
Hi all,
I just picked up a new to me 1954, 6" Ruger Mk I. Always wanted one, and now lucky enough to come into this. The previous owner says it's a real shooter, so I can't wait for our range to open up so I can give it a try!

I went into the local gunshop today to browse and a older bluesteel ruger Blackhawk in 357 with a 6 and a half inch barrel called my name. I have to wait 3 days to get it...…………………..curdog
The one before my next one.
Well, I was visiting my Nomadic brother in his hippie bus as he was loading .338s for his trek to Montana. Leaning against the driver seat was a factory straight grip 20 gauge H&R Topper, the same one he got from me a couple of years back. Oh No, says I- for Montana you need a 12..... Next morning I traded him my CBC Brazilian shorty for the Topper. From a truck to a sports car.[emoji41]
Here it is with its cousin the 44 WCF. It will need a fitted pad and a new butt cuff for sure.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...63dd0a3aaf.jpg

Another online auction today and I had the winning bid on a WW Greener hammer 10 gauge 2 7/8" "The Trap Gun". I have a matching Greener "The Trap Gun" in 12 gauge. This model was specifically made for shooting live birds or glass target balls, so the pair will make nice display pieces to along with my glass target ball collection. (I'll shoot them too of course ...) But now I have to wait for it to arrive in the mail ... and our mail service is running dead slow these days ...

Finally picked up a Ruger NMBH 41 Mag Bisley grip. It had a few rough spots and scratches to start. After a little TLC it looks pretty good. Smoothed out the trigger hammer and adjusted the trigger spring and ready for the range! Might update the grips if I find a decent deal on some black laminated ones.
