Some more for the album. Smoke's signal blue:

This is more of Smoke's orange/brown and SD Copper mixed. I like this mixed color.

Today I had a little of Smoke's signal blue in the jar and put 3 scoops of zombie green (not Smoke's) in there with it and coated a few more trays. It made a nice mottled pattern.

OK, I got some of Smoke 4320s' powder and it has been a lot of fun putting these colors together. Hopefully I don't get too carried away with this.
Attachment 130150This was the beginning.

Attachment 130152Powdered and lined up ready for the bake.
Attachment 130153Fresh out of the oven.
Attachment 130154Pretty happy with the results. I didn't get the yellow to stick as evenly as I maybe would have liked but they all have a great covering.
This is only my 3rd attempt at powder, but Smoke's powder and the nuwave oven make it easy!Attachment 130385Attachment 130386Attachment 130387Attachment 130388

The dark splotches are not thin areas in the coating. The powder was a mix of mostly red from Eastwood and orange from Powder by the Pound. Some weird things happening, but the 2 colors did not like to mix. The surface is slick and does not flake off from the smash test.

Thank you. But Beagle's Beautiful Bullets (BBB) are the best. I bought the Harbor Freight gun and took the little deflector off the end.

A couple of two-color examples, red is ASBB method and blue is bag-in-a-bowl method. Chili Pepper Red and Ocean Blue by TCI Powdercoatings, bought from a local powdercoating shop. Coated with main color, placed on baking sheet then sprinkled with black prior to baking...There's some crud in with the red ones, it's some black 'oversprinkle' which flaked off of the parchment paper. It cleans right up when run through the sizing die.
