SIG P226 LEGION for$750 almost brand new. It came with 4 mags. Original price tag showed $1299. Now my other P226 has a little brother to keep him company.
[B]same here was carried by a Portland Police Officer, father of a buddy of mine.
Smith and Wesson 32-20 1905
Beretta 92 Inox 9mm
Classic Firearms had a shipment of Bond Arms guns in. I chose a 4" barrel "Earl" in .22mag.
Half a pound empty. Fixed sights but they work reasonably well.
At 20 feet they were all on the paper but tended to spread a fair amount.
At 10 feet I got decent groups, holes touching the previous shot hole, etc.
All in all for around 300$ I'm happy. I have another lighter weight option to carry if I feel the need.
Reloading is not fast, only 5 shots. Still for what it is, it appears well made, solid. Easy enough to learn to shoot it reasonably well at close range.
In other words I'm happy.
It is not my best shooting/grouping small pistol. But it has advantages of light weight, small size, fairly good trigger. And it goes bang when I pull the trigger.
A lot of people don't like the price of .22mag but I think a lot depends on what you compare it against.
Vs .22lr yes it is expensie.
Vs a shotgun shell for killing a varmint around the house it is IMO a wash. But will commonly run in the 24 to 30 cents per round average.
If you compare it to a higher powered rifle it can often be 3-4 times cheaper per round. In the right gun and situation it is capable of doing the same job.
So it all depends on what you compare it to.
YMMV
I decided I would not buy another gun this year .
I didn't but I did just trade for a CZ97B :bigsmyl2: I do like CZ stuff .
Trigger parts on order from Cajun gun works , Cajun stuff makes CZ triggers really sweet .
I have this danged weakness for Smith and Wesson revolvers and last week it cost me dearly...again.Attachment 266970Attachment 266971 Model 27-2 born in 1977 and un fired.
A 1956 vintage minty 4" K-38 Combat Masterpiece. Just dropped a Wolf spring kit in it today. Hope it still busts the primers reliably. Made the modifications without any bubba tracks. Got a pancake holster coming for it.

I very seldom purchase a new manufacture handgun but I could not let this one pass.
Freedom Arms Model 97 in 327 Federal mag. with a 7.5" barrel and micarta grips, it also has a factory action job.
My favorite load is a 98 gn dewc with 2.5 gn of HP-38. This load clocks around 820fps and will group about the size of a quarter @ 25 yards. I have shot 6 factory rounds just to experience that, but that's all I cared for.

kid...I have the same gun with a 6.5" barrel, standard grips and factory action job...wonderful shooter...
Have been shooting the Accurate Molds 31-120 @1400 fps with AAC-7 but someone just gave me some of the Accurate 31-135S to try...looks like a great heavy...
S&W Model 624 6.5"
sig 210. i don't deserve it because i can't shoot up to its ability
within the last two months i traded for a kimber crimson trace carry and a lcp and got a new glock 22 (3rd one) and a springfield emp 40 sw.
This stupid thing, It has acted as a gateway gun into high recoil big bores and now it no longer satisfies, so I must seek even more aggressively recoiling cartridge+gun combos.
