Yes !
My Ace Hardware store has a product called Naphtha V?? Will it work or is it different?
I'm not familiar with that one.
Maybe someone else will step in here that is knowledgeable.

JUST ASKING...........
Since SCJOSNBW is out of production and we're forced to find a substitute, is it time to start a new thread about BLL ver. 2.0?
Today I ordered a quart of Lundmark Liquid Paste wax from Ace Hardware. The warehouse has 59 in stock. hc18flyer
I'm confused, not an uncommon occurence. Due to my ADD I find reading all 64 pages daunting. So far BLL is a 60/40 mixture of LLA and johnson's liquid wax which is no longer available. Is this correct? Can someone give me the current correct mixture for this liquid lube using LLA. I would really appreciate it.
Thank you for the update.
Jackpot !!
Was working local South Lake Tahoe and had a lunch break , thought I would visit a local out of the way hardware store .....
Sure enough ! ... three cans were on the shelf .. took one left the other two .
Went to the counter , had to blow the dust off of the can ....
$11.84 out the door .
might go back before the snow flies .
Should have bought all 3. Sold one for enough to pay for the other two.
Have a few cans already .. Thought it would be civil to leave the last two , but by now .....
Not that many cast boolit people in South Lake Tahoe , Calif. , obviously ..
I am Lucky enough to live just over the border down in the valley below.
I think I have about 10 cans I'm not using........hmmmmmmmm and could use a new mold. [smilie=1:
Hi, not bashing this awesome new lube, however I can honestly say powder coating is faster! Shocking, right? :-D
According to your method you put 3 coats and each time you have to swirl and let it dry, but after 2nd coat you need more swirling and more drying time, so how long does it take for 3 coats - 30 - 40 min? Overnight?
Now let me describe my PC method. I preheat about 150-200 .357 bullets for 5 minutes at 150 degrees in a toaster oven that's old and dedicated to this process, I take them out and dump them in rectangular Tupperware container that has couple tablespoons of powder, I swirl and tumble for 1-2 minutes than I pour out in to mesh container shake off excess powder which goes back in to the earlier container and I bake them for 10 minutes at 400 degrees, after that I dump them in to water - done in less than 20 min! No tackiness whatsoever, no exposed lead, no gumming up seating die and of course no leading! Very low cost too, about 6 dollars a pound for powder, takes very little to coat, excess powder is reused. Once again I am not bashing BLL, I want to try it too, my problem - I can't find any liquid Johnson One step :( for reasonable price (I am not paying $100 for one bottle). If I read this thread a year ago, I would have been in luck, especially when people snagged it at discounted prices. EDIT: forgot to mention 2nd most important advantage for me - no smoke!
SMART ! ! !
