Loaded my first universal (10 grains of unique) loads for my '77JM 30/30.....unloaded them soon after.
At the range, of coarse![emoji6]
Chased loading data and D$^%%& sights on my Rossi 92 all afternoon.
13.5 of Lil Gun Lar45 or RD190 and 358156 with 12.6 grains of 10B101 came and went and I am sure it is me and the "buckhorn" sights on that gun.
Had plans to hunt with it, but it (me) has to place the group consistently.
Closed out with 5 rounds of the 127 grain HPs I bought on this site recently.
Stuffed IN FRONT OF 6.0 grains of AA #5 and fired double hand hold at 50 yards. Dang good penetration in the wet clay and about a 1.5-2" hole.
Perfect function and ejection so I will have to brag on a simple Taurus PT 92AFS for now. Wonder how long the Aluminum frame will last?
Good enough to load some to have around the house until I can do something better.
Cast my first Bullets today! I started a thread on this as well. I'm already hooked!
Today I am going to cast a couple thousand .401 TC 175 grainers to replace what I screwed up last night. I was getting ready to tumble lube some .451 TC 230's and I knocked a tub full of .401's over on the floor. I won't risk the grit and **** getting into my barrels so I just dumped the whole lot back into the smelting pot. Right now I'm waiting on my pot to get up to casting temp. :-(

My hands are tired, think I'll call it good for today.
sorry about the mishap, that had to hurt.
It happens, not a big deal really. I get to have fun recasting them now. :-)
I worked on cleaning a Lyman All-American Turret press, rescued from a flea market table where every one just walked right by it. Painted red with a wooded handle.
I know they made them from mid 1950,s (1955 ?) to 1980 but does anyone know when the wooden handle was dropped and replaced by plastic. I have a feeling this one was a later production, very little wear or use.

More brass arrived, time to put it away. I finally have enough brass for all of them. Well I probably should have about 1-2k of Starline 327 Federal to give me a little wiggle room :)
Cast about 100 TL452230-2r tonite
It's the .401 175 TC Lee six cavity. I also have the two cavity tumble lube version but I have not cast with that one yet.

Cabinet with drawers for sizing dies and molds.
Not today, but yesterday I cast 3 different boolits, all for 2-cavity moulds. First about 100 30-115 GCFN Lee boolits. Sweet casting, boolits were falling out of the mould. Sweet little things, reminded me of a certain pair of 38B assets I'm familiar with - fully functional, no drama, not ostentatious, just do the job. Right...
Next about 80 311672's, sweet looking GC2R 170 Gr boolits. Lyman was somewhat recalcitrant, needing some convincing to turn loose of the product, but went well, and they look great.
Then maybe 100+ RCBS 30-165-SIL's that turned out well - almost a clone of the Lyman boolit.
I'll load these up, checking loads, for the Sr Oly's coming the end of July. Life is good.
And an edit - the blasted RCBS boolits have a bore-rider diameter of .305! DANG!
Today I'm loading up a bunch of 9mm in anticipation of the arrival of my new toy. I finally found a Kel Tec Sub2000 in Glock magazine configuration for a decent price and it's supposed to be here on Friday!! So I am making up a batch of Lee .356 125 grain RN's. The bullet is loaded over 4.3 grains of American Select. I'll load until the last of the half pound or so I have is gone then I'll start sizing the .401's I cast yesterday. I finally got around to making a powder baffle for one of my Pro Auto Discs and it is making a big difference. All of the charges I have weighed today have held well within .1 grains. I'll have to make one for the other press now.
Nothing, but I sure thought about it a lot. My wife says that is all I think about anyway. She's probably right.
45-70, I think you need to take that nice lady of yours out to a nice dinner.
With plenty of party favors!!
Got my mould cabinet up on the counter (had to clean the counter first!), then cast my first 45-70 bullets.
Filed down a ridge on the lee charge bar, seems to work better With flake powder now. Still need to tinker with it
reloaded 1000 12ga shotgun shells for trapshooting. then reorganized the ammo storage shelves
Finally unboxed my new Dillon 550B, still need to set it up though...
Sized and lubed about150 .452 BOOLITS for the 1911.
We got a call from our grandson to tell his grandmother happy birthday. She told him, my birthday is not till tomorrow. He is in Korea, he is in the Army and he said well grandma it is the 17th here. So I actually took here out today for her Korean birthday. I will also take her out tomorrow to a show and a dinner.

Yesterday's .401 175's all sized and tumble lubed. :-)
Finally started working on it have the old single car garage that was turned into a dress shop before I bought the house. Ripped out the carpet and began cleaning up the concrete. In the next couple of weeks the door will come out and be replaced with a window (don't know why I need two front doors). Anyhow should have the room up and functional before spring. :bigsmyl2:
Brass tumbling day ... 9mm & 38spl
Taught my oldest daughter how to cast! She poured 20-180 gr .314 boolits to shoot in her new Mosin , I think I have her hooked.
Nothing, but I did make up a batch of BLL in the kitchen. And then applied it to bullets in the basement.
Loaded about 100 .45acp lswc after futzing with seating depth and OAL.... if they shoot as good as they spec out........ I'll be happy
Loaded up almost 100 boolits for my Glock, from the mold I just bought..
Thanks, Motor,
Yes, it's a 2000 F150 4x4. After a great deal of troubleshooting and isolating the current drain to the fuse that supplies the electrics to the driver's seat, it was determined that the aftermarket seat cover getting caught on the seat adjusting button and holding it in the up position will drain the battery pretty fast. It was visible all the time but hidden in plain sight.

Been worken on a wooden jig to help me make 300blk and did 50 to try it out (I know I could buy one but for no more than I'll need this will be fine). I think I'll do a couple hundred this weekend.

Slugged my Mauser 7x57 mm and decided not to size boolits from a Lyman 287308, but use 'em as cast. Loaded 25 cartridges with Red Dot and 25 with IMR 4227 to try this weekend.
Did some straightening out, putting some stuff where it goes, and minor general cleaning.
