Patrick McManus would be proud of us.
I figure the OP has an angle he is working on, but I haven't figured it out yet.
Just a minute guys! Just what is your angle???
From the looks of things, there is a lot of cabin fever going around in this thread!
(I already sold my book of Snipe Hunt tickets or I'd offer them for sale here to take the edge off things ........ so to speak)
Three 44s
I worked at the counter of a tire store a long time ago, guy comes in for tires, when I asked what car he had he says "ghoulie" I say what? He says "ghoulie" I walked out in to the parking lot to find a Pontiac 6000LE... :-)
All of this talk about angles, but has anyone gotten to a point?
I found a calculator on google the other day so I could find the length of the legs of a 45 90 45 triangle based on the length of the hypotenuse. I guess, the point is, I could have done this by hand 15 years ago, but I forgot my geometry. IIRC, Pythagorean theorem should have worked for this........................yes, it would. I used it all of the time for framing walls. 3, 4, 5 gives you a 90 degree corner. Are you not supposed to drink blinker fluid? I have some unused lube grooves, too, if someone has an upgrade for my memory bank.
Do you guys remember a tv show called "Charlies Angles"? These 3 angles had great geometry...and perfectly formed masses of data points. I watched it for the intellectual benefits...
I had traded two quarts of vintage blinker fluid for a soup can of used 1/4 minute of angles. Then I tripped on deep pile carpet and can't find any of them....
GoodOlBoy
This thread is in desparate need of a new angle ....
As is your box of angles, possibly you should add some MiLs
I'd be careful about buying from the OP. I think he is working some kind of angle....
Would you trade for some diesel engine spark plugs?
If I buy an hour of angle, can I divide it into minutes myself or does that require a special tool?
I have a slide rule slide set up to figure cosines that I could trade for some angles. I need to get some angles and hippotomoose boots to catch some post holes for my fence repair.
