My Lee 356 120 TC 6 cav and 2 cav both throw .3585 or so depending on the exact alloy.
Your assumption that a 356402 "can't" be sized to .358 because they aren't that big is ridiculous.
Molds vary a lot, alloys vary a lot and you are wrong if you think that because it says "356" on the
mold somewhere it "can't" cast a .358 or even .359 boolit.
This is getting tiresome. Have fun with reloading the 9mm. I find it to be no particular problem,
and have posted how to make it work. Do whatever you want.

I hear this a lot about TL bullets in 9mm. I think they have to be harder, as the softer alloys just doesn't play well with the small ribs of the TL design. Then add terrible TG to the mix, you are going to get leading. Lee molds are cheap, just get a single grease groove design & start over, your results will likely be better.
BTW, you can't get a good bore slugging using a plated bullet IMO.

Hey Bill, I'm just asking legitimate questions. No reason to get rattled. With all these posts about bullets falling out of molds at .358, I was curious why mine all cast to .356-ish. I doubt I got 8 molds that were perfect from 4 different manufactures. I am using a precision micrometer to measure them too. That's all.....legitimate question to get a mold that casts larger......
Just asking.......
