Inherited a nice digital camera. It zooms in like crazy and makes the imperfections seem way worse than they are. These are all powdercoated soft lead intended for the 357 Maximum, fired subsonic and suppressed.

I coated the last of the boolits I had on hand. I love the shine from Smoke's black. Looks chromed.

I can't wait to get some new colors when Smoke gets his new supply in.
I did some casting today. I shoot allot of 40’s so I always keep a Mold hot and use it when my reason for casting gets too hot.
So here is a hundred or so of Lyman 180g Coates with my own red.

I coated some sky blue today. I just wish it was glossy.

New to this.....tried some silver vein from Eastwood.
Been a while since I PCd anything with this many squared edges. Was kinda a cool outcome with the shiny and dull stripes. With Smoke PC clear on MP 358-429(r). The shiny portion of the ogive (think I’m using that word correctly) was what really got me. As you can see it passed the crush test though so PC is good.

Ok... I went over to the Dark Side today. I am a Sprayer not a Shaker.. Well, today after spraying 4-500 9mm and 380's when I was cleaning up the overspray, normally I just lift up the paper I put down to cover my table and throw it out. But today I got to thinking.... I still had a few 20 - 30 odd bullets. I also had a #5 tub sitting in the garage. Hmmmm. Why not? I poured the overspray into the tub, dumped the few oddball bullets in and swirled away (didn't have any airsoft or beads). The clunking and bumping made me cringe thinking of my beautiful bullets getting dinged and scratched. 15-30 seconds later I popped open the lid and was quite surprised at how well the coating looked!!! I loaded those into the oven and started culling my sprayed bullets looking for the ones that had thin areas. Normally these would go back into the pot and be recast. But why not shake these too? I don't normally like to double coat. I find the gloss seems to dull. But since I had already crossed over into enemy territory (lol) I decided to shake these too. There ended up being a big difference in cosmetic looks, which was to be expected, but Wow! They are definitely shootable!! Here are the pics, Not sized yet.

If I just want to quickly make some to shoot, and not show, I definitely will consider Shaking now..
