I believe bananas were part of the curse, everything else mentioned is OK
PB & nanners was one of Dad's favorite, but the nanners MUST be brown (potassium is then digestible). His other favorite, PB, apple sauce & cinnamon on dark pumpernickel. PB & crispy bacon on toasted rye (or toasted sourdough) is great. Sardines - kinda like that first anchovy pizza I tried - never again.
Since I am enjoying a Sam Adams Boston Lager as I write this, I am surprised there is not a PB and J microbrew someplace. Hmmm....I will research and report back.

One of my FAVORITE breakfasts!:bigsmyl2: Sometimes, I add a skosh of my wife's Strawberry jam!
Another of my favorite breakfasts is good old SOS! You Veterans will remember that!

Now you are all makin' me hungry! I love naners, PB and a few semi-sweet chips.
All this talk of PB and banana sandwiches brought back memories of when I was a kid , needed a sandwich and what I would do if we didn't have any PB! This sounds absolutely disgusting now, even to me, but with no PB in the house, I would put a coat of Mayo on a slice of white bread, then sprinkle sugar all over the Mayo then put a layer of sliced bananas on the sugared Mayo, fold it up and eat it. Desperation sure makes you try weird food combo's ... it must have tasted OK because I made them whenever we had no PB....
Anybody else ever do or hear of Banana Mayo and Sugar on White Bread ?

Put on some semi-sweet chocolate chips for a decadent treat.

PB , lotsa real butter and B&B stackers on good white bread are great !
White bread, Dukes mayo, PB, naners, and cheese makes a meal that stays with ya. It carries pretty good in a lunch sack too.
