lets see those coated bullets
Any chance you can post a pic of all the colors PC'ed on a bullet? It would be nice to see them side by side for a comparison. At least the different shades of the same color.

1st times a charm! It covered too well. So on my second batch I dropped them into a empty container and bounced a few times to thin the paint out. They look great! Now if I could only pick them up with my needle nose without removing a little powder coating before baking. BTW I didn't have to clean or prep my bullets, just threw them in a number five container from the dollar store and tumbbled for 30 soconds.

Those look really good tripplebeards!
This is my very first try at powder coating. I cleaned the lube off some commercially cast boolits with laquer thinner and simple green, it worked great except I think I needed to rinse them off with water after. I tried ASBBDT with smokes traffic orange. No matter how long I shook the container I could not get full coverage on the first coat. I decided to bake it anyway to see how it looked, they came out decent but a little splotchy with the coverage. I stuck them back in the container and shook them again, I noticed a BIG difference this time. I only had to shake for about 20 seconds and they were fully covered in powder. I baked them for another 10 minutes and they turned out really good. Here's the final product.
So I went with a base coat of each color I ordered then tossed them in to tumble for 20 seconds with black as a second coat and got these Attachment 196056
Would you ship across the ocean?
And have you ever tried it "wet", with Aceton or something like that?
Yes we ship worldwide
wet is a mess .. Not worth all the trouble
many here have tried it and they all go back to dry tumble over time
Hello, What is the name of the color in upper left corner of your sample colors? I want a copper pc that will DT. Has anyone tried mixing colors to end up with a different one altogether? Thanks Iwannac2

I would like to order sample pact jet black, signal blue, trffic orange and a 1k beads. Thanks
Just want to say that stuff works great. I had some 185 gr LSWC boolits I had cast awhile back. I washed them with dawn and very hot water and gave them a good rinse. Then I put them in a ceramic bowl and baked them at 225 for a while till they were hot. I let them cool down a bit so I could handle them and added them (40-50 in a batch) to a Blue Bunny Ice Cream container with an oval shape. A couple of teaspoons of John Deere Green and a few spoonfulls of blk airsoft BB's and swirled them around some and them worked them over good with a true shake for about 1 1/2 mins.
Dumped the whole Magillah into a bed bath & beyond metal mesh tray over clean alum foil. Then I put down the tray and removed each boolit with a pair of needle nosed pliers and placed them on a layer of non stick Reynolds wrap that was folded over the edges of a baking tray. I managed to get 208 boolits on the tray and put them in my oven cold. Set it for 410 degrees and once it got to 400 degrees I commenced to baking them for 20 minutes. Beautiful results. Glossy and a great color with excellent coverage. I gotta try those nitrile gloves neck as using those pliers is kinda slow and awkward. I had bought the trial pack of JD green, traffic orange and traffic yellow to start with. I also bought a vial of HF Red just to see how it works out and we will see. So far I am a believer and I can't wait to try them out in my 454 Casull. They should be screamers with a full house load....
