A very handy and useful resource ! Thank you to all who contributed .
Valuable information, Thank you.
Oddly, I prefer Lee, Single cavity molds... that is how i started... and do Not feel like Changing... tho I do own a couple 2 cavity ones...
Anyway... seems Lee "recycled" numbers from the single cavity molds to "newer ones".. causing me much confusion...
Someplace I think there is a numbers list that shows the old single cavity mold numbers..and I would much appreciate that Info...
Thanks Much in Advance!!!
Thanks for this
The group buys don't appear to have the buys from the last 10 years. The NOE 429421 and the MP #503 clone are not there. That was the early days for both companies. I don't think MP lists half the molds he has made.
Does anyone have scans of old Lee mold lists from say the 80's ? there are quite a few molds not on the current list and the "specials" that midsouth sells. I recently picked up a used 6 gang TL 314-85-WC. I assume this is probably 30 years old? Also the 6.5 mm, 7mm and 8 mm midsouth molds aren't part of regular catalogs. I have a Lee 90486 numbered mold which I understand is a 429 214 SWC HP mold. The old Lyman mold catalogs are a great resource and was wondering if there was old Lee catalogs scans floating around?
Lee changed numbers like underwear. It is best to refer to a lee mold by weight and caliber as you have done. Further refiners would be TL, and nose profile. I think the 314 wc was dropped in the 90's.
