Very interesting thread here on this forum. I tried to copy and paste an image from a web search of a"Lachmiller Lube-a-matic", but was unable to accomplish that. Short in that skill set.

Using the original RCBS Luber/Sizer from around 1980. Easily many many thousands of rifle and handgun bullets through it. Had a newer Lyman but the sizing die retainer nut failed, left the threaded portion in the press. That was after just a few sizing die changes. The thread relief neck leaves a very thin wall thickness as measured. Located a RCBS LAM original in the box with purchase receipt!!! Will use the original LAM for rifle and dedicate the new in the box for handgun. Wonder how long they will last as I have many many years of casting and shooting to go?

My boolits are about 10 bhn and close to the desired sized as dropped. Very little resistance going into the die. Hard to see it wearing out anytime soon.
