This is my last gun purchase and my first over the internet. Ordered it from Bud's on a Tuesday and picked it up the following Friday at a local dealer.Free shipping no sales tax and 5.00 dollar transfer fee.
It is a Ruger SP101 4.2 inch barrel 327 caliber. I wanted a small plinking hand gun that could also be used for informal target shooting that was easy on my lead supply.I removed the rear sight and put on a Allichingun scope base for a Burris Fast Fire III.
Here is a photo of my first try with 100gr. wadcutters using 3.0 grains of Bullseye.Shot at 25 yards from a rest.

Went to the Big Reno Show . Prices were high but not completely unreasonable just the high end of the window . Lots of collector guns good lord the 1886's 73' 76' and similar era lever shotguns . Zip for alternative AR calibers . Then there it was looming out of the fog drawing me in like a moth to a bug zapper , 1895 blued 18" 45-70.

Last gun I actually took possession of is a Taurus snub nose .44spl, but I have a down-payment on, and waiting for shipment of a brand new Henry Big Boy Steel in .327 Federal magnum. It's going to go great with my SP101 in .327.

Managed to score a HK USP 45 Compact, with extra barrel and extra magazine on Gunbroker for a bit under $600. Might sell the extra barrel to offset the cost, but haven't seen them go for that price before. I thought it was a decent deal.
Ruger SR 22 -- turned out to be a fun little plinker!
Beeman P17, single shot, single pump pnuematic air pistol. .177 caliber. Would have prefered .22.
Takes a fair amount of cocking force. Looks a bit like a black desert eagle.
Lets me shoot inside the house. Fps supposed to be in the 410 fps range. Seems close. Punch's through aluminum can lids nicely. But a cardboard box filled with rubber floor mats slow them down nicely and catch them for melting.
Great trigger.
Total cost 39$.
Can't be beat, anyone can afford that.
Only real downside is it is a bit tricky to get the pellet in the barrel.
I suspect one of those 15$ pellet pens and a little dremel work would help.
Just picked up a 6 inch Colt Trooper today
